AMERICAN COMPANY OUTSOURCES TO DELFI SOLUTIONS

SeaRecovery – an American manufacturer of desalination systems for the maritime sector – has recently outsourced the development and production of its electronic equipment to Delfi Solutions.

Increasing know-how trough partner
An analysis revealed that their internal development department was lacking requisite know-how and it would have thus taken too long to reach the insight needed, as they were to design a new generation of products to meet customer needs for today and tomorrow. Delfi Solutions was chosen as a strategic outsourcing partner - to see over a whole new generation of built-in communications in SeaRecovery's desalination systems.

Time to market significantly reduced
Delfi Solutions is managing the entire project from development to product delivery at the customer’s address. Delfi Solutions has developed and simplified electronics and software based on their extensive knowledge in creating communications solutions for mechanical products. We outsource manufacturing to China. For SeaRecovery this means that the products have much more functionality built in, while development and production time is significantly reduced – to only half a year from approved requirement specifications to delivery approval.
